The location was excellent (just inside Porta di Sant'Agostino; parking very close for those who need it). Room was very clean and was large by Italian standards (plus: shower had amazing water pressure!). Breakfast was minimal (plus: all the "torte" were outstanding and made by owner, Antonia). The restaurant was undoubtedly the best we experienced during our three-night stay (based on portion size, price, choice, and quality).
Family-run Villa Pambuffetti provides luxurious accommodations in a historic building surrounded by extensive park and farmland, 1640 feet from Montefalco’s Piazza del Comunee.
Featuring a free swimming pool, Nuovo Mondo B&B offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony overlooking the shared garden.

Fabio is a fabulous host! Even though the reviews say it is dated, it is a little and it doesn’t matter. Fantastic location, fantastic host. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Surrounded by the Umbrian countryside, Cardinal Girolamo is a 15th-century farmhouse offering a large garden with pool and BBQ facilities. It produces and sells its own olive oil and wine.

It was in a beautiful place. The pool and air conditioned were very good in the hot weather in july. It was a peaceful place. The owner was a cool person and kind , he gave us one bottle of wine from his winary, and it was sooooo valuable for us and made the best finish for us.
Montefalco is a lovely pre-Roman town. Be prepared for incline walking (it is a hill town after all). Piazza del Comune is a good place to sit and people-watch (Enoteca Federico II is a comfortable choice). Many shops sell local and hand-crafted products (in addition to expected wine and olive oil). Complesso Museale di San Francesco is well worth a visit to see frescoes by Gozzoli and Perugino. Lots of hotels and restaurants to choose from (I would avoid Il Verziere at all costs. Ended up there by default when Pizzeria La Panoramica was closed and couldn't even eat their gummy crust pizza). A wonderful town to visit. Oh, and remember to visit at least one or two wineries. Scacciadiavoli was especially informative and provided an excellent tasting experience.

Montefalco is absolutely beautiful.
Montefalco is absolutely beautiful. Stunning views, very relaxed atmosphere, great wineries and restaurants. Surrounded by farmland and fields of sunflowers. If you want to escape the tourist traps and relax in the real Italy, this is the place to do it. You will have to book well in advance, but a meal at Via da Mezzo, run by celebrity Italian chef Gioergione Barchesi is a must. Just make sure your really hungry.

The restaurants in Monte Falco are amazing and all in short working distance. The food, wine, ambiance and service is excellent across the board. There are also several scenic spots for drinks before dinner. It's also the perfect home base to visit wineries and beautiful Umbrian towns such as Assisi, Orvieto, Spello and Spelleto.

Montefalco is a charming small town perched on top of a hill, the ‘balcony of Umbria’. There are numerous small bars and restaurants of high quality and with friendly welcomes. We loved the views, enjoyed great food and drank the superb wines from wineries that were a stones throw away.

For a tiny town, there is lots to do and outstanding quality restaurants. Time it right, and you can be there for the harvesting of the grapes, the sagre or for a music festival. On top of that it is so pretty and charming, and the people are welcoming, warm and friendly

Santa Chiara was amazing!
Santa Chiara was amazing! We missed this on our last visit and she was one of the reasons we wanted to return. We had dinner at Alchemisti and it was wonderful as it was on our previous trip. The Gnocchi in Sangrantino sauce is bellissima! We had wanted to dine at Il Coccorone but it was closed - we ate there on our last trip. It is a great town in which to walk the streets. It is one of our favorite places to visit.
Wonderful location within reach of a variety of Umbrian cities and attractions, like Spello and Bevagna. Peaceful and quiet countryside is relaxing and inviting. There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like. The B&B really exceeded expectations and the staff were super welcoming and kind, making us feel like part of the family. Laura and her family even cooked us dinner when we were feeling unwell, and refused to take payment for it!
Most of all - the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere of Andrea and Carolina!! They are always so cheerful and always attentive to our needs. The apartment was super comfortable for us to spend our four days just outside Montefalco. Wonderful views from the apartment. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with Carolina’s pastries the best! Their on site alimentari very convenient and their made-on-site pork products excellent!
Manu was the perfect host, for a perfect accommodation. He facilitated our late arrival, by getting his Mamma to give us the keys in person, and couldn’t have been more helpful with advice on restaurants, etc. The Appartment was immaculate, perfectly located in Montefalco, and was pristinely clean and comfortable. We could not recommend this accommodation more highly 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁
Really lovely agriturismo run by a nice family. Spacious comfortable apartment with a shared terrace and views across the countryside. Lots of outdoor space and the pool to enjoy. Rural setting so nice and quiet.
Short drive into Montefalco and easy to other lovely hilltop towns around. Comfortable bed, good shower, nice people - wish we'd stayed a bit longer.
Beautifully constructed with the newest facilities. The kitchen had a wonderful array of food for breakfast with a great cappuccino machine. it was located a few minutes from Montefalco where we spent most of our time. it was also very close to the freeway from Perugia to Spoleto making Assisi, Spello, Trevi and Campello sul Clitunno very accessible.
A lovely hotel is in a perfect location set in the center of The Palazzo of Montefalco. Outstanding service from a very warm and friendly staff.
Breakfast was delicious! We also dined in the restaurant at the hotel and the dinner was outstanding!
So convenient to so many beautiful towns and wineries.
An added plus is the spa!!
This is a first-class hotel. Before the pandemic many Americans stayed here. They have not return as before and that a shame because this is an excellent hotel. As a traveler to Italy many times I place this hotel in the top five of my alltime favorites. The staff is outstanding.
Leonardo was an excellent host! He even provided home made biscuits made by his mom! Excellent view from the accommodation! Highly recommended for families.Impressed with the proximity to Montefalco (5 minutes walk) and grateful for the easy drive to Assisi!
Very close to Montefalco, small village with a lot of restaurants. Neighbourhood is beautiful: hills with vineyards close by and mountain tops behing them. Ideally for wine tourism: we visited some wineries for the lovely sagrantino wines.
We LOVED everything!! beautiful apt. with comfortable beds, pillows. a Great Kitchen even though we didn't use ..too many WONDERFUL restaurants in Montefalco including this B&B famous dining L'Alchimista is a MUST dine at experience!!
Lovely little hotel centrally positioned with gorgeous view from our room. Kind front desk who recommended a fabulous nearby restaurant for dinner. The hotel was easy to find, quiet but right in the middle of the delightful town.
A warm welcome. Didn’t expect the kitchen area, the table, chairs and umbrella outside our room were perfect. Rooms were spacious. Great swimming pool area and a short walk (uphill) to Montefalco. Good breakfast choices.
Our accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The beautiful town of Montefalco is very close by. and many other interesting towns are easily reachable. Luciano and Anna are delightful, and extremely helpful.
Fantastic, well equipped apartment, easy walking distance into Montefalco. Wonderful welcome from Nonna Anna, who showed us the accommodation and provided lovely biscuits. Superb views and very peaceful.
