The hotel is very cozy and clean.
On the ground floor there is a reception with very friendly staff, a large restaurant, a spa and many areas where you can sit and drink delicious coffee.
Breakfast in the restaurant is simply wonderful, there is a lot of varied food and everyone can choose what they like.
Our room was spacious with a beautiful view from the window where you could watch a beautiful sunset. The room has everything you need: ironing board and iron, enough hangers and drawers for clothes, large TV with many channels, desk and comfortable chairs. There is also a kitchenette in the room, which is hidden in a closet, making it invisible to the interior. The mini kitchen has a stove, kettle, cups, a small refrigerator, as well as a small set of tea and coffee and 2 mini chocolates. The bathroom is very large with heated floors and a chair, plenty of towels, body lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel + hairdryer.
The design of the room itself is very interesting.
Just 5 minutes’ drive from the E22 motorway, this hotel offers free gym, sauna and indoor pool access. Wi-Fi and parking are also free. Lund’s charming city centre is 3 km away.

Everything mostly fine (except as below), the overnight reception-girl was exceptionally helpful with my safe (from which, it turned out, the batteries had been stolen).

Forskarshotellet is an excellent place to stay. Room was spacious and it was very clean and had a lovely scandinavian vibe. Bed was good and it was easy to sleep because the place was so peaceful. Breakfast was okay and there was also some meat and dairy products in the menu (I'm telling this because there was a mention in booking.com that breakfast is just vegetarian dish.).
Parking was easy. Bathroom was also spacious and very clean. The room had a waterkettle and a fridge as well as plates, cups, etc.
All the rooms seemed to have doors out, there are no lobby or anything like that. Breakfast is served in an other building which is like 10 meters away. There is no reception or staff but I understood that you could easily contact them if you need anything.
Set in a charming 19th-century sandstone building, this hotel is 2 minutes’ walk from Lund Central Station. Bathrobes, luxury beds and free shoe-shining service are included in all rooms.

Very happy that the room had a bathtub. Wonderful.

Cozy and very well located, breakfast was very good
Lund is a charming city in southern Sweden. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful botanic garden. Lund has walkable city center and a friendly student atmosphere. Lund is a great place for students looking for a vibrant and historic city or tourists wanting a beautiful and safe base to explore the region.

Lund was basically a college town, and very old college town. Lund University was established in 1666, one of the oldest and most prestigious Universities in Nordic Europe. Lund is a very cozy town, with three Systembolaget (only place we can buy wines).
The headquarters building of the university was gorgeously beautiful. The Faculty of Sociology of Law (independent from the Faculty of Law) accpets ca. 400 students every year. One of the must-visit places is the Lunds Domkyrka (Cathedral), which was build in 1145. Every place is within walking distance from the Central Station.
Lund is about 40 minute-train-ride from the Copenhagen Airport and 10 minute-ride from Malmo. Malmo is also one of the cozy town you must visit and enjoy (a little larger and more modernaized than Lund).

Lund is a pretty medieval city with a lot of history.
Lund is a pretty medieval city with a lot of history. I was inly there for less than a day, so bot a lot of detail, but:
- the domkyrka is worth seeing (special mention of the crypt and the astronomical clock)
- Kulturen is very well presented - it's a sgame i didn't gave time to see the outdoor part
- the botanical garden is very nice
- food-wise: I recommend Saluhallen and Broder Jakobs Bakery in Klostergatan, and I also enjoyed the salad i got from Waynes Coffee
I would not recommend visiting Lund on a Sunday afternoon, though- a lot of interesting places will be closed.
Lund is quite walkable and has good bike paths.

Nice cozy town to walk around, even in wintertime.
Nice cozy town to walk around, even in wintertime. In the spring, however, everything blooms, and it's even more charming. Visit Sankt Hans Backar for an overview of the city and don't miss the botanical gardens. When you get tired you can relax and enjoy Swedish fika in one of the many cafes or pastry shops.
My first visit to Lund . My son who studies at the University guided me to the Hotel as it was conveniently located and close his accomodation. It was very good suggestion indeed! Specifically loved the dining layout! Excellent breakfast spread. Dinner was unexpected to be free but it was and a very good spread ! Amazing Mushroom soup , the salads and the vegetarian options that were least expected! The TV lounge and reading room were well laid out and plush !
Room was spacious with a nice view, had everything for a long stay, well equipped kitchen, you can cook just like home, and a large bathroom (at least for Sweden). Personnel is nice and helping. Public transport just in front of the hotel. Room cleaning is done when requested or on a schedule. Hotel is cleaned daily. There is also a gym and sauna available. Basically everything you need to live like in an apartment.
We stayed there several weeks with 2 kids and really enjoyed it. Hotels in Lund are either too expensive or rooms are too small. Here we had 2 rooms with enough space for everyone, just 5 minutes away from Lund by car, kitchen with all needed supplies, good wifi and for decent price. The host is very friendly and helpful.
It was a great price for what we got for the stay, especially in Sweden. It is super convenient- just dont follow the route Google provides, theres a much better shortcut ot the place and makes it a great place to stay, with supermarket close by and the bus stop that connects to the city centre.
The room was large, comfortable, clean and quiet. The location was close to the main Lund train station and only a 15 minute walk from the university (where I had meetings). There were also several restaurants within 5 minute walk. The staff were also very friendly and kind.
Cozy little hotel in the center of Lund. All sights are within easy walking distance. The hotel is housed in an atmospheric 19th century house with a terrace. Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast. Great place to stay during a business or tourist trip.
The apartment (#3) was clean and comfortable, ideal for a solo traveler! The city center is walking distance and only 5 minutes by bike. Charlotta was very helpful throughout my stay. Definitely recommend for a nice stay in Lund.
The hotel has great parking opportunities directly outside the entrance. The location is very good due to the fact that it is localized outside the central Lund, which is complicated and time consuming if you bring your car.
the location was perfect for our stay in Lund. our oldest son had his masters graduation and the suite was near the university. we were also in the heart of town which made it fun to walk around. A perfect time!
Perfect little house in the center of Lund, 5 min to trains for Stockholm or Copenhagen, lovely and warm place in modern structure in a little house in an old Swedish garden. Come and see and you will love it.
It was inexpensive and we were even given complimentary breakfast and dinner, I had a fabulous time during my stay in Lund and this place exceeded expectations, the sauna in the room was very pleasant too.
It would have been perfect if breakfast had been served. Not ffering breakfast at a hotel at this location is horrible. It should be included.
I also missed a waste basket in the room.
We really enjoyed our stay at More Hotel. The room was really nice and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
We can definitely recommend this hotel for a great stay in Lund!
